Kim Kardashian NOT Launching Music Career, Despite Report
Kim Kardashian is not launching a music career, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this. We’re told it’s entirely “false.”
According to Life & Style, “Kanye West could soon have some competition on the Billboard charts from his wife.” The tabloid alleges that even though Kardashian “failed” with her 2011 song “Jam,” she’s “ready to give her music another try.” A supposed source tells the publication, “Kim would love to have a huge hit.” “She thinks, given her fame and popularity, that there is a massive payday waiting for her,” adds the outlet’s alleged insider.
The magazine, which bought a photo of Kardashian leaving lunch with songwriter Carole Bayer Sager, has its so-called “insider” claim, “The meeting with Carole was to discuss upcoming projects.” Kardashian, contends the tabloid, is “ready to begin the next phase of her career.” And its seemingly made-up or ill-informed source further alleges, “Kim hasn’t consulted Kanye” about the type of music she plans to make “or included him in any of the discussions.”
Gossip Cop looked into this claim, and once again Life & Style is off-key. Kardashian is not embarking on a music career. Her rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop the magazine’s story is 100 percent “false.”
Of course, Life & Style’s track record with Kardashian is pretty abysmal. In addition to its slew of recent inaccurate reports about the reality star, back in 2015 Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for wrongly claiming in a cover story that Kardashian had quit “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” That untruthful tale was followed by another cover that falsely alleged Kardashian was suing Kylie Jenner for stealing her look. And then the outlet published a cover that contended Kardashian was dumped by West while pregnant with North, and another that she was dumped four days after giving birth. As Gossip Cop noted at the time, not one of those stories were true, and neither is the latest fabricated article about her launching a music career.
