Geri Horner has revealed plans to ‘sing’ at her own funeral.
The former Spice Girls star has admitted she wants mourners at the service to listen to some of her own songs, and she already has an emotional track in mind for when the day comes.
“The songs I want playing at my funeral would be a track of mine called Beautiful Life,” she told the Daily Star. “I wrote it, and it probably won’t make my new album because it got leaked.
“I don’t want people to be happy or sad, I just want them to feel connected.”
However, even Geri admitted the song choice might not be particularly apt – and that there’s perhaps a more suitable situation for it.
“The only thing is… the song sounds like something that would play on a frozen food advert,” she said.
It comes after Geri broke down on This Morning as she opened up about her late best friend George Michael, who tragically died on Christmas Day 2016 before he got to meet her son Montague George Hector Horner.

Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, she said: “I absolutely loved him. When I left the Spice Girls, he took me under his wing.
“He was such a lovely person, and suddenly I had a baby. It’s the circle of life, you just don’t expect it.”
