Come sing with the Warwick Valley Chorale


Registration begins Jan. 24 for spring shows

WARWICK The Warwick Valley Chorale will begin rehearsals for the 2017 Spring season on Jan. 24, in preparation for three performances in May.

Registration will be held on Jan. 24, 31 and Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Warwick Reformed Church, 16 Maple Ave. Dues are $40 for individuals or $30 each for two or more family members. Rehearsals will follow registration at 7:30 p.m.. Music will be provided once dues have been paid during registration weeks.

Regular rehearsal hours are 7:30 to 9:30 every Tuesday evening.

The Chorale is actively seeking new members. No auditions are required.

The May concerts, directed by Stanley Curtis and accompanied by Gail Johnson, will present an American choral portrait, with selections highlighting our nation’s early history, struggles and culture. A special tribute to the Broadway music of Irving Berlin and George Gershwin will also be featured.
